Common questions
Will anything be deleted automatically?
No. You choose what to keep or delete. Supported items in Photos can also be moved to Hidden. Files in a Mac folder can be kept or moved to Trash.
Do my photos leave my device?
Sensitivity does not upload your media for scanning. Items stored only in iCloud must download through Apple first. Usage analytics and crash reports do not include your photos or videos.
Will it find every private photo?
No. The scan looks for explicit content and can miss it or flag harmless photos. It cannot identify everything you consider private.
What if I use iCloud Photos?
Deleting a photo from iCloud Photos also deletes it on devices using the same library. Check your backups and Recently Deleted before deleting permanently.

Can I scan without an internet connection?
Yes, if the photos or videos are already on your device. Items stored only in iCloud must download first. If files are missing, check Photos access and Scan Options.
